What do I Speak About?

Becoming a speaker was never a part of my plan. It was something I was encouraged to do by my clients. Over the last few years, I have been invited to speak at many conferences, seminars and events, ranging from 500 to 50 people in the audience. The only common thing in all these speaking engagements is, Business Storytelling. I talk about Business Storytelling and its application that is relevant to the audiences I am speaking to.

How are the talks designed?

I am often asked to speak at Sales Kick-off meetings where I talk about the role stories play in the current sales environment. One of my most memorable talks is the one that I gave at Primetime Singapore recently, where I talked about Storytelling and Women in Workforce.

Even though I only talk about business storytelling, I ensure that the content is tailored to whom I am talking to.

My only KPI is to ensure that people who listen to my talks walk out saying, "Stories have a massive role to play in my work and I am inspired to use them."

Countries I have spoken in are Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand and India.

A feather in my hat

I was very fortunate to be the Storytelling Coach for TEDx Singapore Conference. When it comes to speaking, nothing really beats TED.
