What builds Organisations? Most Definitely Not Likes & Followers

Our insecurities around social media Likes and Followers has created business for some people. In today’s day and age it is very easy to feel insecure when you do not have as many likes as someone else but we have to remember is number of likes and Followers is always the wrong thing to chase. It is easy to build crowd. Trust me it is. Put a bunch of models and you will get that.

The numeric nature of Likes and Followers creates an addiction. It is this same numeric nature of keeping scores that made video games addictive.

What is hard is to build trust and every successful organisation on this planet got built on Trust. Trust is built when you make an effort,You turn up everyday, You create stories worth telling. The increased number of Likes and Followers should be the by product of this trust you build.

If you are building Trust remember it takes time. Just keep pushing through. Put the likes and followers aside. When the trust is built, customer traction is built and then the like and followers are built.

Your time is limited so chase what matters.

Why the QR Code? The answer is in the request below we received from a regular blog reader.

"I attended your story telling course some time back. And I've enjoyed keeping up my knowledge with your blog. You may not have realised however, that the Whole of Government is implementing Internet Seperation. Hence I'm not able to access the links to read your articles. Could I suggest including a QR code in your emails so that I can use my mobile to scan it and gain immediate access to the article? It would be most helpful"
